Love Island contestants work out villa 'curse' as they beg each other to avoid drama

This year's Love Island contestants might be living it up in a brand new villa in Spain, but it seems there's some parts of the luxury abode that they're not so keen on.

During Saturday night's episode of Unseen Bits, the Islanders were seen obsessing over a particular piece of garden furniture.

It's emerged that the boys and girls refuse to sit on the yellow beanbag as they're convinced it curses you with drama.

Voiceover Iain Stirling was heard saying during Saturday's episode: "Another day in the villa and all the Islanders are hard at work making top notch reality TV content on the bean bags. Well, most of the beanbags..."

A montage of clips were then shown, proving just how scared the Islanders are of the yellow beanbag.

"Are you actually gonna take that risk?" Paige is heard asking one of the boys as he goes to sit on it.

"Anyone who sits on it, you get drama!" Coco says speaking in the Beach Hut.

Gemma is also heard saying: "I'm scared of that yellow beanbag, I'm awfully sorry."

Tasha, Gemma and Ekin-Su were then seen performing an exorcism as the Turkish actress said: "Please remove all negative energy from this yellow beanbag."

Love Island fans tuning in at home thought it was hilarious and took to Twitter to comment.

"The yellow bean bag thing is so funny #LoveIsland," one person posted.

Another tweeted: "I love the yellow bean bag thing #LoveIsland," while a third joked: "They tried an exorcism, but the yellow beanbag is too powerful #loveisland."

A fourth person suggested: "They should burn the yellow bean bag and dance around its ashes #LoveIsland," while another added: "Lmaooo burn the yellow bean bag #loveisland."

A different person tweeted: "Maybe the episodes have had less drama because they've stopped sitting on the yellow beanbags #LoveIsland."

Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
