Love island contestants stay in secret third villa on final day

Former Love Island star Olivia Atwood has revealed that the islanders stay in a secret third villa on the final day of the ITV2 show.

Olivia explained that as well as the main villa and Casa Amor there is actually another villa that viewers never get to see.

Speaking to OK! Olivia said that the islanders get to relax in the other villa while the main villa is transformed for the final show.

Olivia said: "The final day of the villa like all the filming of the show is done, so you go to another villa nearby and you're kind of there for the day.

"It's a completely different one to Casa Amor, a smaller one. It's basically a way to keep you out of the way."

Olivia said the contestants basically had the day off as they prepared for the live final that evening.

Olivia said: "You've kind of got the day off. You chill, you have the day together, you put music on and have a little BBQ.

"Because in that time they're transforming the main villa and putting in the stage and all the stuff they have to build. The whole villa turns into a construction site.

"That's happening over those 24 hours.

"So that day you get ready and relax and film some pre-title stuff. Then it's the live final."

Tonight's final will see one couple scoop £50,000, with four couples in the final.

Those in the running are Chloe and Toby, Faye and Teddy, Kaz and Tyler and Liam and Millie.

*The Love Island final airs at 9pm on ITV2 tonight
