Sunday night's episode of Love Island got off to an explosive start as Jake Cornish furiously attempted to storm out of the villa following a tense chat with Toby Aromolaran.
After the 24-year-old confessed his love for marketing student Liberty Poole on Friday night's episode of the Virgin Media series, the villa had mixed reactions to the water engineer's declaration of his feelings.
As the girls huddled round the iconic fire pit to discuss the showdown between 21-year-old Liberty and boyfriend Jake, the Love Island ladies were less than enthusiastic about the pair's relationship update.
In fact, the girls told the blonde beauty that her partner since the first day may have been telling her what she wants to hear.
Faye Winter and Chloe Burrows then went on to discuss the doomed relationship between the pair with their partners, Teddy Soares and footballer Toby.
As the boys enjoyed a similar debrief, Hashtag United player Toby pulled the tattooed 24-year-old for a private one on one chat.
As the 22-year-old tried to tell Jake that many of his fellow islanders, and the outside public, may be suspect of his feelings for girlfriend Liberty, the tattooed Cornish looked confused by the revelations.
The pressure of discussing his romance with his fellow islander obviously got too much for the Love Island contestant from Weston-Super-Mare.
The emotionally strained islander stormed off from the garden and appeared to try and exit the villa
Concerned pal Toby followed his friend, telling Jake: "I'm just going to sit outside here, yeah?"
"Is that cool?"
Seconds later, a topless Jake emerges, telling Toby: "I got to get out of this place."

He then goes on to walk through the villa and sit outside the main front door of the iconic Spanish property.
But later on in the episode, Jake appeared to have calmed down and returned to the villa, demanding from Toby and Teddy to hear the names of the girls who had doubted him.
Teddy and Toby told him that was not the issue right now - the real problem was how defensive he was getting.
Love Island viewers were not too impressed by Jake's temper tantrum on Sunday night's show.
After watching the dramatic scenes, one fan tweeted: "If Jake really loved Liberty he’d be going over to her right now to check she’s okay and reassure her, not taking his shirt off and storming off like a f***ing drama queen."
