Love Island champion Dani Dyer has revealed her favourite in the villa this year is Irish star Maura Higgins.
The 23-year-old bombshell was crowned champion with Jack Fincham last year and split the £50,000 prize.
Dani, who is the eldest daughter of hardman Danny Dyer, has been talking about this season of Love Island on social media - and she’s picked her winners.
Speaking to Ryan Tubridy on RTE Radio one this morning, she said: “I really do love Maura. I find her absolutely hilarious and I think the villa needed that, she has such a good personality.
“I think you need to have a laugh in there and she’s definitely bringing it to the table.
“It’s just a reality show and she is entertaining, she brings the entertainment to the show.
“I think Tommy is great and I think every girl in there fancies him, don’t they?
“But he’s so lovely and he’s such a nice day even though he doesn’t know how to make tea.
“I think he has a good chance of winning it.”
Ryan asked Dani to explain the appeal of Love Island to someone who’d never watched the show.
She said: “I would describe Love Island as something you can come home to and just switch off and enjoy, because everyone loves love and watching relationships unfold.
“I definitely think it should be limited to a younger audience. I think the parents should watch it before and then show the kids the bits that are okay to watch because some of it is a love show, and there’s bits in it younger kids shouldn’t see.
"I know that’s what my parents did last year when I was on it.”
