Love Island cast strip off for seriously sexy opener in first look at 2021 series

Love Island has finally released the opener for the 2021 series ahead of the launch date next week.

The short clip will be shown before each episode and introduces all of the contestants taking part in this summer's show, which kicks off on Monday 28 June.

The opener begins with 22-year-old Shannon Singh walking onto a photo shoot set wearing a skimpy lace thong and matching bra.

Leaving very little to the imagination in her lingerie, Shannon pops a record on and flicks her hair back as she tells viewers: "Let's go!"

Set to the backdrop of Whenever I Am With You by Craig Hardy and Theo Chinara, the clip then cuts to 22-year-old footballer Toby Aromolaran as he pulls his suitcase and prepares to jet off to Spain.

This is followed by 21-year-old Liberty Poole, who works at Nando's, as she dons her uniform and causes one male customer to pour a bit too much peri peri sauce on his plate.

This turns into Jake Cornish hosing himself down wearing a hard hat as he shows off his bulging biceps and hairy chest.

Next up is Faye Winter, a 26-year-old lettings manager from Devon - who certainly looks like she belongs on Netflix show Selling Sunset.

The busty blonde rips off her smart blazer to expose her neon pink bikini and ample assets as she blows a kiss to a man nearby.

This is followed by PE teacher Hugo Hammond, who is the first ever disabled contestant to take part in the ITV2 dating show.

He is joined by 26-year-old fashion blogger Kaz Kamwi, who wears a bright yellow bikini as she takes plenty of selfies.

Next to introduce himself is 26-year-old Brad McClelland from Northumberland, who can be seen training in the gym wearing a pair of black shorts.

The next lady to shed some clothing is former civil servant Sharon Gaffka , who pouts for the camera in a pair of sexy spectacles.

Luxury events host Aaron Francis is up next and is suited and booted as he heads into a nightclub before giving the camera a cheeky grin.

Last but not least is Chloe Burrows, a 25-year-old Financial Services Marketing Executive from Bicester.

Showing off her svelte figure in a barely-there mini dress, Chloe looks fed up as she endures dates with several men before deciding she's had enough and walking off.

All 11 Islanders are then shown with huge smiles on their faces as they walk into their futures - which are sure to be exciting, for the next few months at least.

The singletons are heading to Spain to live in a luxury villa as they all get to know each other and hope to find that special someone.

The clip comes as it was revealed that Love Island 2021 applications are still open for bombshell arrivals.

Fans of the show can apply to spice up the Majorcan villa this summer, as the likes of Maura Higgins, Joanna Chimonides and Theo Campbell did when they entered the show halfway through.

To apply, you have to be over 18 and hold a passport that will be valid in February 2022 and you must not work for or previously worked for ITV, or be a direct relation of anyone that does.

The casting announcement reads: "ITV2 are looking for vibrant singles from across the UK who want to head to the sun, in search of a summer of love."

"The chosen cast will spend time in a luxury villa, getting to know one another, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island."

Applications are open until July 10.

Love Island starts at 9pm Monday 28th June on ITV2 and ITV Hub. Episodes are available the following morning on BritBox.
