Two more singles were sent packing from Love Island just a few days ago, with Aaron and Spencer both given their marching orders, after failing to find a real connection with any of their co-stars. And,. as any fan of the ITV dating show knows, when an Islander leaves, another isn't far away.

Viewers will get their first look at Claudia, 28, in Love Island on Tuesday night, when she enters the villa as part of Love Island's infamous heartrate challenge. The task can always be guaranteed to stir up tension and, given the numerous fractured relationships in there at present, lthis year ooks set to be no different.

After the likes of Tanya, Ellie and Tanyel have strutted their stuff in a bid to get pulses going, the boys assume that the performance are over, but Claudia comes in and declares: "Let’s really get them hearts racing!"

When asked why she's doing Love Island, Claudia, a fashion boutique owner from Blackburn, said: "It’s come at the perfect time in my life. I’m 28, I’m not getting any younger and I’ve been single for 8 months, so I feel ready to settle and find ‘the one’. I’m done with the ‘bad boys’, I just want to find my person and now is the right time."

Claudia isn't the first sportsman's child to do Love Island, with Michael Owen's daughter Gemma making it all the way to the final last year. And, on the subject of what her dad thinks about her doing the show, Claudia added: "He was really for it. My dad said he was really proud and to take the opportunity to find someone that’s not a d***head, that’s exactly what he said to me."
