Love Island was forced to rule out the reoccurring Twitter challenge after the how was accused of using fake tweets by viewers.
The Online Buzz game sees Islanders guess who the mean tweets are about.
In the past the game has caused major drama to break out in the villa, and has also seen some tears roll down as a result.
But producers have decided to ditch the challenge from this year's series.
Insiders told Sun Online: "The Twitter challenge won't be on this year's series - it hasn't been ditched for good, it's just not happening on the winter season."

Mirror Online has contacted Love Island for comment.
Last year's Online Buzz game caused a stir among viewers, as fans at home did some snooping and were convinced that the accounts used in the task were "fake" after noticing they were created shortly before the challenge.
Viewers took to Twitter to voice their concerns.

One user theorised: "I'm sure the tweets shown were fake, of all the tweets that popped off these are the ones you show them?
"Which producer sat down and wrote those themself? #LoveIsland"

A different viewer stated: "I've searched all these @‘s that have tweeted these so called “tweets” and they’re all fake account that have two follows and follow one #loveisland"
Another fan claimed: "They’re picking accounts with like 30 followers. So the producers have made fake accounts are now getting them to read their own tweets #LoveIsland"
