Love Island bombshell Wallace Wilson had his unusual name mocked by joker Luke Trotman in Monday's episode.
The islanders were informed that two new people, Wallace and Demi Jones, would be arriving in the villa and taking three islanders on dinner dates.
Upon hearing Scotsman Wallace's moniker, Luke T joked: "Will Gromit be joining him?"
He wasn't the only one to make jokes about it - viewers also found it hilarious that an advert for a Wallace and Gromit fronted advert featuring the iconic duo played in the break.
"As if knowing a guy called Wallace existed wasn't funny enough, some genius put a Wallace & Gromit advert on in the ad break. #TVGold #LoveIsland ," wrote one.
"Did the DFS advert with Wallace & Gromit come on on purpose because a guy called Wallace is coming into the villa #loveisland ," pondered another.
"No they did not just show the Wallace & Gromit DFS advert after announcing Wallace was going into #LoveIsland DYING," added a third.
The two new bombshells picked three islanders to go on dates with - one to prepare their starter, one their main, and one their dessert.
Personal trainer Wallace opted for Sophie Piper, Paige Turley, and Siannise Fudge, while Demi dated Finn Tapp, Nas Majeed and Luke M.
The episode also saw Connor Durman get dumped from the villa after his fellow islanders had to choose between him and Sophie Piper to leave as they got the fewest public votes.
Connor and Sophie were long considered the 'power couple' of the South African villa, so Laura Whitmore's announcement that they would be split apart left viewers stunned.
Sophie, however, decided not to join him and leave the villa with him and later seemed upset when talking to Shaughna.
"Don't cry... oh babe," Shauna told her. "Are you sad because you're going to miss him?"
"It's a s*** situation," Sophie said. "I don't know what to do. I feel like if he got picked he would have left with me. It's just so s***."
However fans were not entirely convinced, with one tweeting: "Sophie acting skills are on top form tonight give the girl an Oscar as if she is thinking twice about leaving #LoveIsland."
While another commenting: "Sophie trying to force a tear out.... #loveisland.
