Love Island bombshell Brett tipped to make swift exit by sceptical viewers

Love Island viewers are predicting that the show's latest bombshell Brett won't be around for long as he made a very brief appearance at the end of Tuesday's episode.

After the Islanders had completed the raucous Sex Gods challenge, they headed back to the villa to get their shock of their lives as they saw the new boy relaxing on a sun lounger by the pool.

That was all Love Island fans got to see of PHD student and model Brett, but it was enough for plenty of them to declare that, with less than two weeks until the final, he won't be around for long.

It didn't take long for Twitter to be filled with tweets about the 27-year-old, with one viewer tweeting: "Brett will be in and out like a revolving door" and another posted: "The Brett fella on a 3 day holiday didn’t even bring a change of clothes he be voted out by the end of the week."

A third reacted: "Brett hun, you should have just stayed at the airport."

Others begged to differ, with a number of viewers predicting a potential romance and meeting of minds for Derbyshire lad Brett and the newest girl in the villa, medical student Priya.

And there were a few people watching at home who were instantly impressed by Brett, with one reacting: "Ooooo hello Brett."

Talking about why he wanted to be on Love Island, Brett, who has an identical twin, said: "I’ve never had a serious relationship and the last 18 months has been really stagnant in terms of meeting new people and dating.

"Lots of my friends have settled down, had kids. I’m kind of the one that’s left back from all of that. Now is the right time."

And on the subject of who he has his eye on, Brett added: "Millie, Kaz has been a recurring pick for me and maybe Mary. They all seem like really lovely people.

"I’d go and ask the question for sure. I want to know where their heads are at."
