Love Island Australia fans gobsmacked by raunchy scenes as couples 'get it on' in week one

Love Island Australia is even sexier than the UK version according to surprised viewers.

The raunchy Down Under version from 2018 is being shown on ITV2 this week to replace the cancelled British show and fans are amazed by how fast the couples are moving.

Just days after the launch, contestants Erin and Eden were filmed romping under the sheets in what viewers think it is the series' first sex scene.

The saucy antics may come as a shock to British fans as the series has been toned down in recent years.

Love Island UK bosses stopped showing the majority of the islanders' steamy antics in a bid to protect their mental health.

The same can't be said for the Aussie 2018 series, which is already heating up.

Viewers now think that lovebirds Erin and Eden might have been the first couple to have sex in the villa.

The sexy pair who coupled up on the first day were spotted sharing a passionate kiss under the covers during their first night in the Love Island house.

In the saucy scenes, Sydney-born Erin, 27, asked Melbourne local Eden, 25, if he was a good kisser.

Erin and Eden then shared a ridiculously long smooch under the covers leaving eagle-eyed viewers convinced that they "got it on".

Taking to Twitter, fans admitted that they couldn't get enough of the steamy Aussie villa residents.

"Love Island Australia can stay around forever please. It's so much sexier than the UK one! Erin and Eden 100% got it on!" shared on enthused viewer.

While a second echoed: "Omg, Love Island Australia shows the sex scenes still! This is what we need in a lockdown!".

"Wow, these Aussie's move fast. They really live up to the 'down under' title" another quipped.

While a fourth spectator voiced: "Okay I never thought I'd say this but I prefer Love Island Australia! Why did they take all the steamy scenes out of the UK version? Worst. Decision. Ever!".

The steamy series is hosted by Sophie Monk and narrated by Eoghan McDermott.

It originally aired in 2018.

* Love Island Australia airs on ITV2 at 9pm
