Love Island Amy's secret expression that proves she's not over Curtis

Love Island's Amy Hart quit the villa after a torturous public vote that pitted her and ex Curtis Pritchard against Lucie Donlan and George Rains.

And while viewers are yet to hear why Amy decided to leave after her heartbreak, her final hours were captured in last night's episode.

And it was clearly agony for the air stewardess to stand next to the man who broke her heart and "took away my future" by telling her he couldn't see himself marrying or having children with her.

Here, body language expert Judi James reveals the secret expressions and gestures that confirm what Amy was thinking during that brutal quadruple dumping.

Amy's body language had been pretty one-dimensional while she was cosied up with Curtis but his behaviour, plus the fact they weren't voted most popular couple by the viewers led to non-verbal signals that were so contrasting and confused that they could smack of desperation.

Like Lucie, Amy did try to go through the motions of reviving her 'fun' side and fighting back in the style of Amber or Anna but her slumped posture and unhappy facial expressions showed bravado was never going to be an option for very long.

Her mind seemed set on either a reunion with Curtis or continual showdowns but being picked out in this final vote and watching her friends decide her fate brought a look of fatalism to both hers and Lucie's poor faces.

Her chin did rise as though she still had a will to fight but her air hostess smile turned into a raised top lip and teeth-baring gesture that looked more like a snarl.
