After seeing Michael kiss Joanna, Love Island fans across the country are absolutely livid but no-one is more angry than Amber's nearest and dearest.
Just last week, Geordie girl Amber and Scouse firefighter Michael were the bookies favourite to win Love Island but now viewers are seething with him thanks to the teaser for Tuesday night's show.
Footage shows Michael asking "If I tried to kiss ya would you stop me?" before locking lips with her.
And, given that Amber's mam Vanessa said she'd be thrilled to welcome Michael to their home in Whickham, Gateshead, the 21 year old's friends are totally shell shocked by his behaviour.
Mart Tweedy, who has been looking after Amber's social media while she's in the villa, told Chronicle Live "I literally couldn’t believe that Michael would do this to Amber.
"Just at the weekend, I was saying to Amber’s family about how she couldn’t have chose anyone more genuine and loving, and that persona has suddenly come crashing down.
"In one way, I’m heartbroken for her, I know fine well she was head over heels for him, but in another, I’m glad she can dump the trash and move on.
"Imagine if his true colours had shown 6 months down the line?! I get that they weren’t exclusive' - but Amber showed her loyalty to Michael by sleeping outside and even stopping the kissing game as she said that she couldn’t do it to him.
"Michael, on the other hand, has shown complete disrespect for her by slating her flaws to Joanna, to which she obviously was loving and agreeing with him all the way. Poison!
"If he had a problem with her, or their relationship, he should be discussing it with Amber, not flaunting his dislikes to a girl he had only known for a few hours."
Discussing how he and some other of Amber's friends and family felt seeing Mart added: "Watching the clip of tonight’s show where he asks if he can kiss Joanna had us all raging.
"Amber had a barrier up from day one; something that she had from the way she had been treated in the past.
"Her barrier was just starting to come down, and then bam! We’ve all been disgusted and disappointed by the way he’s gone about it all and I really hope he gets his comeuppance in spade-loads.
"God help the day he has to visit Newcastle!"
