Love Island's Amber reveals why she won't conform to Instagram pressures on Loose Women debut

Show bosses were said to be impressed by her opinionated and outspoken attitude and Love Island winner Amber Gill didn't hold back when she made her debut as a Loose Women panellist on Wednesday.

After appearing on the ITV daytime show alongside her Love Island partner in crime Greg O'Shea last week, Amber flew solo to join Christine Lampard, Gloria Hunniford and fellow Geordie Denise Welch behind the desk.

One of the hot topics on Wednesday's Loose Women was Kathy Burke's All Woman documentary, which aired on Tuesday night and discussed the nation's unattainable obsession with beauty.

As a 22 year old reality TV star, Amber knows all too well the pressures that come with being in the spotlight, but is proud of the fact that she hasn't had any surgery.

The Gateshead girl said "I haven't had anything done. A lot of girls my age have had lip fillers, cheek fillers and bum lifts etc.

"I don't feel pressure - people saw me for two months with no makeup and my hair in a bun, so my Instagram is just me being me.

"The pressure on Insta comes from people who are sharing their best bits of their lives on Instagram but that's not real.

"You've got to be unique. Everyone wants to look the same - same hair, same lips and that's not for me. I think it's great that everyone is different.

"I love my makeup but I also love taking it off and being natural. I put it on for me, not for anyone else."
