Love Island Amber had 'strong relationship' with Dennon in Casa Amor

Love Island viewers will be shocked to discover that Amber Gill actually had a 'strong relationship' with Dennon Lewis in Casa Amor.

Fans of the show will know that Amber's former partner Michael has been in the doghouse after dumping her for Joanna Chimonides.

Following Michael's decision, Amber has questioned his actions after she remained loyal to the Scouse firefighter.

But now Casa Amor Islander Dennon has said that if it wasn't for Michael, he and Amber could have coupled up.

Speaking to the Mirror , Dennon said: "Me and Amber got very close. As a friendship. Obviously there was the situation with her and Michael, who we thought were very strong.

"If things were different maybe we would have coupled up or something.

"We had a strong relationship and we kind of grew a friendship from it."

The Watford lad admitted he was stunned when he realised that Michael had coupled up with Joanna.

He said: "I don’t know if they showed my face when it happened. I was in shock. My jaw just dropped.

"I was so confident. I was telling Amber at the time 'you’ve got nothing to worry about. Michael is a good guy'.

"I saw her face and she looked at me and pointed at Michael. I thought 'oh my god'."

Dennon does not want to speak to Michael once he leaves the villa because of his allegiance to Amber.

He confessed: "I don't want to see Michael again because me and Amber got very close and I didn’t think he’d do that to her. I do love Amber."
