Love Island Amber Gill pockets £1 million in major Miss Pap deal

Love Island's Amber Gill is a whole lot richer, thanks to a huge new deal with Miss Pap.

The 22-year-old has has earned a whooping £1 million after signing a new fashion partnership, just six weeks after winning the show with then-partner Greg O’Shea.

Amber, who shared a £50,000 prize with Greg at the end of July, announced her decision to join forces with the online retailer on Thursday morning.

The Newcastle-born reality TV star is the face of the brand’s relaunch and she will unveil her first clothing collection in October.

The range will be “all-inclusive”, with sizes going from 6 to 26.

Amber said: “Since leaving Love Island everyone has been waiting for me to announce my clothing collection, but I wanted to take my time in the design process to make sure everything is perfect for girls of all shapes and sizes, but also ensure it embodies my fashion sense – fun, sexy and easy.”

Her range will include clothes for the gym, for going out and everyday essentials, as well as loungewear.

Amber, who has 2.9 million followers on Instagram, became popular among viewers for numerous reasons - including her style choices in the villa.

Miss Pap have also shared their excitement about working with the nation’s newest sweetheart.

“Oh hey queen of the island + our newest, exclusive #misspapbabe,” they wrote underneath the advert. “We’ve been werking hard with the queen @AmberRoseGill to create a collection that’s inclusive to all shapes + sizes, embodies amber’s style and is savage af.

“First drop comin’ soon – keep your eyes peeled.”

The deal comes after Amber was dumped by Irish rugby player Greg just five weeks after they won the the series, beating favourite Molly-Mae Hague and boyfriend Tommy Fury.

During an appearance on Loose Women on Monday, Amber admitted to feeling shocked when Greg made the decision to split up with her last week.

She said: "Obviously I am really disappointed - I didn’t expect it all."

The beautician said that Greg cited their “careers and distance” as factors in the breakdown of the relationship.

However, Amber told the panel that she struggled to understand his reasoning, as they knew about both of those things when they first met in the Love Island villa this summer.

Greg - a rugby pro from Ireland - lives miles away from Amber's hometown of Newcastle, though he is currently spending a lot of time in London.

She told the panel: “It was always something that we knew about, so I don’t know what changed but I kind of wanted to make it work. It is what it is really.”

She added: “I am disappointed."
