Since Love Island: All Stars 2025 came to an end, there has been a Love Island-shaped hole in our lives. But, fear not, as we are now back in Mallorca for a brand new summer of love with Love Island 2025 - and now we have our brand new line-up of Islanders.
Once again, we will see a fresh batch of singletons all looking for love in the famous villa as season 12 begins - but who will we be adding to our Love Island UK winners list?

Love Island 2025 release date
Love Island 2025 started on Monday, June 9 at 9 pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
The series will air on ITVX and ITV2 every evening apart from Saturdays at 9 pm.
Love Island: Unseen Bits will air on Saturday evenings at 9 pm, where Iain Stirling reveals unseen moments and exclusive content from the previous week in the villa.
Love Island: Aftersun will also be back at 10 pm on Sundays, where Sam Thompson, Amy Hart, Ash Holmes, Indiyah Polack and Joe Baggs discuss the latest goings-on in the villa.
In the US, Love Island 2025 premieres on Hulu on Thursday, June 12.

What happened on Love Island 2025 last night?
Episode 3 - Wednesday, June 11
Bombshells Shea Mannings and Remell Mullins arrived and both got to pick first in the villa reshuffle. Alima snogged the Islander she would couple up with if there was a recoupling and she went for Remell. While Ben was dared to snog the Islander he fancies the most and he kissed Shakira as Harry watched on. Elsewhere, Shea had to seductively suck the finger of the Islander he’d use handcuffs with and Conor had to kiss every Islander of the opposite sex, with the girls later commenting on his good kissing skills.
Episode 2 - Tuesday, June 10
After Shakira found herself single when bombshell Toni stole Ben from her, she was then able to pick from Blu, Conor and Harry when they all stood up after Maya gave them the chance to couple up with her. While their partners watched on, horrified, Shakira eventually picked Harry, leaving Sophie to be the first islander to be dumped from the villa. After Sophie left the villa, Maya revealed two new bombshells would be entering the villa, Bristol footballer Shea Mannings and fitness influencer Remell Mullins.
Episode 1 - Monday, June 9
The first episode saw a fresh twist in the usual show format with Maya challenging the girls to match up with one of this year's boys based only on their dating profile, and not their looks. Before even seeing Ben, Dejon, Harry, Conor, Blu or Tommy, the girls had to decide who they’d like to couple up with based on key stats like the boys’ name, age and job. We also welcomed the first Bombshell of the series, Toni, who is a Las Vegas Pool Cabana Server from the US. Toni caused drama when she swooped in and stole Ben, which means Shakira now has 24 hours to connect with one of the other boys in the hope they choose her at the next coupling - or else she'll be dumped.

Meg already knows what she is looking for in her new man... "I’d like to meet someone who is tall, with a nice tan, nice eyes and a nice smile. He needs to have a good fashion sense and a really good, funny personality that I can get on with."
Dejon
Age: 26
Job: Personal trainer
Lives: London
Dejon has a surprising claim to fame: "My dad is an ex-professional footballer. I’ve met all kinds of famous people through him. When I was younger it was weird because he was just my dad, but we’d go to a game and fans were asking for photos. I’ve met David Beckham, he was really nice."
Sophie - dumped in week 1
Age: 29
Job: Motivational Speaker and Author
Lives: Manchester
Sophie is looking for laughter as well as love... "I would like someone who is fun, spontaneous, who has a lot of jokes and who is attentive. At the moment, I’m only finding ones draped in red flags and ‘do not cross’ signs."
Sadly, Sophie was the first person to be dumped from the island when Harry stood up for Shakira and they coupled up, leaving her single and brutally dumped. Speaking of becoming the victim of the first twist of the series, Sophie said: "It’s Love Island - even the people that think they’re safe, aren’t! If you’ve not mixed and mingled, or you’ve mixed and mingled too much… all of a sudden, you might not have a strong connection and you could leave. As long as Harry is happy. I know for me, what I make of my life is down to me. I don’t regret anything I’ve done. I did everything that I wanted to do. And summer’s not over!”
Tommy
Age: 22

Tommy already knows what he is looking for in his future romance: "A girl who is very ambitious, with a big personality, caring, but also someone that doesn’t take themselves too seriously. I don’t know if that’s asking for too much, but I want a bit of everything. I haven’t got a specific type in terms of looks, though."
Alima

Alima has an impressive flirting technique: "I always ask guys on a night out to guess which country I’m originally from. If they get it right, they can get my number. Toni is the first Bombshell for the 2025 season and is from the US. Speaking of dating in America, she says: "I live in cities that are fast-paced and party places: Las Vegas and Florida. People are here for a good time, not a long time. I live in Sin City! I do love Las Vegas. I’ve met some of the greatest people I’ve ever met there. I’m willing to relocate, but it would just break my heart to not have my job anymore."
She's also admitted why she wants to date a British guy: "I’ve lived in three different states and I’m still single. It’s time to try something new! I have some British friends and they’re pretty charming. I think all Americans love a good accent. British men are just more polite, with better manners."

Once again Maya Jama will be back for presenting duties. Maya has been a hit with viewers since she took over from Laura Whitmore in 2023.
Maya is also usually on hand on Sundays for Love Island: Aftersun where she discusses all the latest goings-on in the villa with her panel of star guests, and it is thought the the spin off show will return again this year.

Once again, comedian Iain Stirling will be back with his brilliant voiceover, having provided his hilarious one-liners since the series started back in 2015.

Who won Love Island 2024?
Mimii and Josh were crowned the winners in the 2024 live final, narrowly beating series favorites Ciaran and Nicole. Jaws dropped in the villa when Maya Jama announced the news, especially because the pair had only been a couple for two weeks. Sadly it was announced in October 2024 that the pair have now split.
