Love Island is back next month, with another set of young romantics jetting off to a swanky villa in the sun.
Applications for this summer's antics kicked off in January and have remained open throughout spring, with countless single hopefuls expected to apply. The premise is simple yet beloved, seeing contestants "couple up" with one another on a quest to find love - and a cash prize.
The show originally kicked off in 2005, with 12 single celebrities spending five weeks in a villa in Fiji. After two seasons, it was cancelled.
