Love Island 2021: What happened during last night's beach club elimination?

Sunday night's episode of Love Island was full of drama as viewers witnessed the fallout from the islanders' night at the movies.

There was heartbreak for some viewers as Iain Stirling let slip the date for the final episode - Monday, August 23.

In his voiceover for a scene about islander Mary Bedford, Iain said: "Mary, you've got all the time in the world. And by all the time in the world I do mean Monday 23rd August."

Here is everything that happened in last night's episode.

Faye got emotional with Jake

Friday night's episode saw the islanders have a night at the movies, as the boys and girls went head-to-head to win the chance to watch revealing clips from the series

Jake Cornish was shown encouraging the boys to get to know the girls in Casa Amor, something that greatly upset Faye Winter.

In Sunday's episode, Jake pulled Faye for a chat to clear the air.

Faye said: "Out of the whole situation last night, yours hurt me more than Teddy's."

She said she found his behaviour in Casa Amor unacceptable.

Jake said he just told the boys to have fun and didn't encourage them to share a bed with any of the new girls. He also told Faye that Teddy Soares had been completely faithful to her.

The pair agreed to bury their disagreements and move forward.

Liberty revealed her insecurities

On Friday night, the islanders were shown a clip from the beginning of the series in which Jake revealed he didn't want to rip Liberty Poole's clothes off.

The pair became official a few weeks after the comment was made.

Liberty said: "That clip last night, I'm not gonna lie, that did really hurt me.

"My heart sunk when I seen the comment like, I literally wanted to start crying there and then."

Jake reassured Liberty that his attraction to her as grown over their time in the villa.

He said: "I'm not going to stay with someone I don't find attractive."

Jake also admitted that he couldn't keep his hands off Liberty.

Liam and Millie rekindled their romance

Liam Reardon and Millie Court had suffered a rough patch in their relationship, after Liam was unfaithful during his time in Casa Amor.

The 21-year-old bricklayer has been working hard to fix his mistakes and it seems Millie is ready to forgive him.

Speaking next to the pool, Millie said: "I'm just happy that we are able to get back on track again."

The pair had also shared a kiss the previous night, showing that romance is back on the cards.

Shock dumping revealed

Jake received a text saying the islanders would be treated to a day at a beach club.

The text read: "Islanders, it's time to get up and go as you'll be spending the day at the Island Vibes Club. Please get ready to leave the villa. #outout #notaladsholiday"

The islanders were having fun at the party, until Love Island host Laura Whitmore turned up with some shocking news.

Following Friday night's episode, the public voted for their favourite boy and favourite girl.

In Sunday's episode, Laura revealed the results of the vote. Those with the least votes were at risk of being dumped from the island.

Kaz Kamwi, Abi Rawlings and Mary Bedford received the fewest votes out of the girls whilst Dale Mehmet, Jake Cornish and Tyler Cruickshank received the fewest votes out of the boys.

Laura then revealed that only one boy and one girl will be dumped from the island.

She said: "That decision is in the hands of your fellow islanders."

Who is safe and who will be dumped from the island?

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub.
