Love Island 2021 start date finally confirmed

Love Island 2021's start date has finally been confirmed.

The show has taken to Instagram to confirm the show will be returning to our TV screens this month.

The new series, which will air on June 28, just under two weeks away, was confirmed on This Morning by Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield.

The show has not been screened since the first ever winter series hit the air early last year.

The summer series was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic and restrictions on travel, and Love Island didn't return for a winter series this year.

This comes after it was reported that the new Love Island contestants are already in quarantine before filming begins.
