Love Island 2021 stars still together and which couples rumoured to be 'on the rocks'

Last year's Love Island was one to remember.

Jiberty's split, Millie's huge heart and Faye popping off breaking Ofcom records gave us everything we didn't know we needed.

We were also privy to the start of several relationships formed under the heat of the Spanish sun and eagled-eyed film crew.

Millie, Liam, Faye, Teddy and Chloby all pledged their love in telenovela style.

However, the course of true love never ran smooth and rumours of a break-ups have since plagued the gorgeous gang.

As we strap in for another summer of love, let's take a look at which of the 2021 OGs could be heading for splitsville.

Millie Court and Liam Reardon

After waltzing off with the prize money, the future looked bright for this perky pair.

They didn't have the easiest time in the villa after Liam's misdemeanour with Lillie Haynes, but Millie forgave the Welsh wonder and they split the £50k.

The couple have since moved in together and were posting loved-up pics on Instagram.

However, they have recently been subject to rumours of a split.

Fans were concerned they were spending too much time apart (Brett D. Cove / SplashNews.com)

Millie was working in LA while Liam was left in the UK - fuelling speculation that distance doesn't make the heart grow fonder.

The couple's social accounts also showed a distinct lack of photos of each other.

Fans were quick to show their concern, with one musing: "Hope I'm wrong as I'd feel so bad for poor Millie but he is constantly following other girls like blue tick girls or models who aren't following him."

Another added: "They seem to be spending more and more time apart as well he's back in Wales a lot which is absolutely fine but I fear he's just not settling as easy in Essex."

However the Welsh wizard recently picked up his beau from the airport after her vacay to Ibiza.

Taking to Instagram, Millie gushed: ""Never needed a cuddle from my boy more than this. So happy to be back home with you."

Meanwhile Liam said: "She's home," adding praise hands, but then added: "Doesn't look too happy about it though".

Chloe Burrows and Toby Aromoralan

Chloe and Toby have been at the centre of split rumours several times.

The pair got a pad together not long after Millie and Liam.

But after not posting snaps of them together on social media for a while, people began to ask questions.

According to sources, Chloe and Toby were 'struggling to make things work', just eight months after they fell head over heels on the ITV show.

However the blonde bombshell took to respected medium TikTok to set the record straight.

"I've been dropping so many hints", Chloe captioned the video, "Me literally telling you I'm still with Toby...".

She then added: "How do people still ask if we together :)))) HOW".

Well that's us told!

Couples who called it quits

While some couples are subject to rumours of a split, others have decided to call it quits officially.

Kaz and Tyler were firm favourites on the show, finishing in fourth place after becoming 'exclusive' days before they left the villa for good.

And just a week after being back in Blighty, Tyler made things official by asking Kaz to be his girlfriend.

However in December fans noticed something was up before the couple announced they'd split.

Speaking on her YouTube channe l, Kaz said: “ I learned so much from that break up and period of time. At the end of the day, some relationships work and some relationships just don't, and this one just didn't.”

Meanwhile Mary Bedford and Aaron Simpson parted ways several days after leaving the villa.

After friendzoning her beau on Love Island Aftersun, Mary later explained that “personal issues” got in the way of their relationship.

The path to love is often a rocky road, but here's hoping this series will produce at least one Faye and Teddy, who seems to be living their best lives with enviable couple goals.

Love Island continues tonight on ITV 2 at 9pm
