Love Island 2021: Sharon shares her 'real name' and Aaron can't get his head round it

Love Island contestant Sharon Gaffka shared her 'real name' with partner Aaron Francis - and it left him looking confused.

On last night's instalment of the popular ITV2 show, the contestants were challenged to prove how well they know each other with a tricky quiz.

There was major fallout after Hugo Hammond's 'innocent' comment about his turn-ons and turn-offs spectacularly backfired on him.

It ended in tears from Hugo and an argument with fellow islanders Sharon and Faye Winter over the girls' cosmetic procedures.

But one awkward moment which fans seemed to miss came when Sharon and Aaron quizzed each other on their personal information in preparation for the game.

Sitting on one of the Love Island sofas, Aaron asked Sharon to "hit me with your names again".

The 25 year old civil servant then reeled off her full name, including three quirky middle names, which left Aaron looking confused.

Sharon's full name is Sharon Nerdia Julia Zakariya Gaffka - and Aaron couldn't seem to get his head round his partner's middle names.

The party planner pulled out his phone to send a text reminding himself of Sharon's names, prompting her to shout: "Don't text me my own name!"

But this exchange was far from the biggest drama of the night, with Hugo prompting a strong reaction from the girls in the villa with his thoughtless comments.

When discussing each other's turn-ons and turn-offs, Hugo admitted his type was, "leggy blonde, not fake."

However, his choice of words sparked outrage amongst the fellow Islanders.

Faye said: "That word keeps getting thrown around, doesn’t it?"

Earlier in the game, the islanders had discussed cosmetic procedures they had undergone, with many of the girls stating they had breast augmentations, fillers and botox done.

Once Hugo realised how much he offended some of the contestants, he burst into tears.

He said: "I was so shocked it was interpreted as it did because I obviously had no intentions of upsetting anyone."

After a heart-to-heart with Faye, who opened up about her own insecurities and explained why the word fake "doesn't brush well with her", the islanders eventually made up and put the issue behind them.
