Love Island 2021's Jake Cornish is a water engineer who once messaged Billie Faiers 'for a laugh'

The sixth Love Islander to be announced has been revealed as Jake Cornish who is a water engineer.

Jake, 24, is from Weston-super-Mare and was in a seven-year relationship before lockdown hit.

He saw Love Island as an ‘opportunity’ and said: “If the opportunity is there, you might as well take it by the horns and go for it.”

Jake said he usually goes for blondes when it comes to looks but the main thing is respect and having fun.

His usual type may change as he said: “Looks wise, always gone for blondes. But for me the main thing is having respect and having good fun, and someone who will be loyal to you.”

He mentioned this as being a priority after saying that he has had messages from girls with boyfriends and husbands before.

When talking about his ideal woman he described Billie Faiers as his celebrity crush.

Jake said: “She is my dream woman.

“I think for a laugh once with the boys, I messaged her.

“I can’t remember what I messaged her. She’s a lady, she’s just lush.”
