Ex-Islander Amy Hart took to social media last night in response to Hugo’s ‘fake’ comment on the show that sent the girls in the villa into a rage.
The 24-year-old referenced the term ‘fake’ a number of times in last night’s challenge as something he doesn’t find attractive in women.
A number of the girls in the villa didn’t take too kindly to his comments, and after confronting the Hampshire native, it all ended in tears.
In a poll on Amy’s Instagram after the show, she wanted to find out who viewers were siding with - and the clear majority thought Hugo wasn’t in the wrong.
Hart then asked her followers how viewers didn’t jump on Aaron’s comment about hating arm hair and said: "Why did no one pick up on Aaron saying about arm hair?
"I understand my fake bangers may not be to everyone's taste, but ARM HAIR?"
Later on Twitter it seemed the majority’s response was in line with Amy's, with one comment among hundreds saying;
"Hang on, so Aaron can say he doesn’t like hairy arms, Jake can go on about how he ONLY likes petite blonde girls, but Hugo says he doesn’t like a fake look and he’s in the wrong?
"Bit of projection going on from these girls I think."
Another viewer responded saying: "Faye and Sharon slating Hugo for not liking fake girls when Sharon’s partner literally said he doesn’t like hairy arms lollll make it make sense."
While a final wrote: "How come Aaron isn’t getting flamed for saying he doesn’t like hairy arms but Hugo is bc he likes natural girls????"
