Millie and Liam on ‘Love Island'
(Picture: ITV)Last night’s episode of Love Island was the most dramatic yet.
The end of the chaotic Casa Amor week saw islanders recouple in ways that shook the villa and the outside world alike, with the fallout of Liam’s indiscretions causing Millie to be in tears and Jake smirking after encouraging the boys to pursue other girls being just two of the most egregious moments.
Viewers reacted to the various subplots as they reeled from the episode.
Many praised Lillie, who Liam had kissed behind Millie’s back while he was in Casa Amor, for returning to the main villa to tell Millie everything:

Large up the producers for giving Lillie the mic because Liam would have fully gotten away with it. Dastardly #loveIsland

People found Liam’s reaction to Lillie’s revelations frustrating, as he downplayed events in Casa Amor and implied he had not been as interested in her as it appeared to viewers:

Liam, you’ll pay for your crimes. Keep lying #loveisland
The way men can LIE you know Millie’s gonna be able to watch the same episodes we’ve been watching once she leaves the villa??? #LoveIsland

Others remained disappointed that Faye and Teddy looked set to breakup, after producers sent the girls a misleading postcard that gave the false impression that Teddy had moved on with another girl while away from Faye, leading her to reactively recouple with new boy Sam:
#loveisland Retweet this tweet 😢

Justice For Teddy… pic.twitter.com/q4EWqwRCJ2
Faye & Teddy are winning this. They deserve it too. I really do think this has been a true development course for the both of them #LoveIsland

Faye and Teddy argue like they’ve been married for 30 years, I want them to get back together and win 😭 they’re all of our parents #LoveIsland

And people were angry with Jake, who viewers suspect encouraged the other boys to cheat while in Casa Amor so he would look like the ‘nice guy’ and win the show:
LOOK AT JAKE SMIRKING. WE CANNOT LET THIS DEVILISH WITCH WIN THE SHOW. HIS PLAN WORKED. HE CANNOT WIN. #loveisland pic.twitter.com/0etu8c9014

The idea of Jake winning because Liberty carries him to the final honestly makes my blood boil. He’s technically stayed the most faithful in Casa Amor yet has still managed to be the most slimey of all of them #LoveIsland

the devil works hard but Jake works 10x harder #loveisland pic.twitter.com/w3lAvzrCxw

Overall, people found the episode absolutely intense:
Gotta give it to the producers, they’re sick in the head for manufacturing these situations but that might’ve been the best hour of reality tv I’ve sat through #LoveIsland pic.twitter.com/KR14MwP0w5
