Love Island 2020: Shock dumping sees Callum and Molly leave villa days before final

Fans were left stunned this evening (February 19) as Molly Smith and Callum Jones were dumped from Love Island days before the finale.

Following a public vote, Natalia Zoppa and Jamie Clayton, who received the lowest backing, were sent home from the ITV2 dating series last night.

As a result, the islanders were told they could save one couple and were forced to pick between Mike Boateng and Priscilla Anyabu and Callum and Molly.

Bristol's Siannise and Luke T, Jess and Ched and Demi and Luke M all voted to save Mike and Priscilla, reports the Mirror.

Only Finn and Paige chose to save Callum and Molly, meaning that they were dumped during an explosive mid-week epsiode.

Earlier on, the Islanders became parents as the babies arrived in the villa for the first time and they quickly got down to naming them.

Luke T and Siannise chose to name theirs Rocky Luke Jr Trotman Fudge.

While Mike and Priscilla's daughter was called Charlotte, Ched and Jess debut baby Winter Ocean Uzor, while Jamie and Natalia opted for a Harry Potter-inspired name ‘Voldy’

Talking about tonight's shock dumping on Twitter, one fan wrote: "Callum and Molly seemed to have more of a connection compared to Luke M and Demi tbh."

While someone else wrote: "Honestly the islanders are so dumb saving Mike & Prisicilla, had about three arguments where Callum & Molly haven’t."

And another viewer said: "Gutted. I liked both Callum and Molly."

*Love Island returns tomorrow at 9pm on ITV2
