Love Island 2020 is open for applications - here's how to apply for the hit TV show

It has been less than 24 hours since the latest series of Love Island ended - but that doesn't mean we've stopped thinking about it.

As announced last week, Love Island 2020 will have not one but two series. So we can now look forward to a winter and summer sun edition.

If you fancy your chances to be crowned the King or Queen of the villa like Amber and Greg, then now is your chance to apply.

Host Caroline Flack announced at the end of last night's finale applications are open for the new series.

You have to be up for a fight, though, as more people applied for this year's season of Love Island than for places at Oxford or Cambridge universities.

And you can start enhancing your chances by making sure your social media accounts are up to scratch - producers are always looking for influencers or potential influencers when they start the casting process.

The ITV2 show producers have said: "ITV2 are looking for vibrant singles from across the UK who want to head to the winter sun in search of love.

"Love Island will be back for 2020 and we're now on the lookout for people to take part.

"Our Islanders will spend time in a luxury villa in the hope of finding love, but to remain in paradise they must win the hearts of the public and their fellow Islanders, who ultimately decide their fate on Love Island.

"If you think you’ve got what it takes, then we want to hear from you."

The closing date is November 2019, so you better be quick .
