Love Island 2019 winner - Who won Love Island 2019?

The sun has set on another summer of love.

After eight weeks of cracking on , Amber and Greg, India and Ovie, Molly-Mae and Tommy and Curtis and Maura were battling it out to be crowned the winners of Love Island 2019.

Viewers voted for their winning couple in two sets of live polls as the couples competed for the £50,000 first prize.

In a shock to early predictions, Amber and Greg won, pipping Tommy and Molly to first place.

The couple then had to choose whether they were going to take the winnings together, or if one of them would steal it.

Greg had the envelope with the money in it, but said: "Of course I am going to share it."

Four couples remained in the villa after Belle and Anton were dumped from the Island on Sunday evening.

Tommy and Molly were favourites to win, but they did face *some* competition from India and Ovie, with the latter winning over the audience since he walked in the villa. And betting odds changed just before the live final to put Amber and Greg as the favourites.

Last year the winning couple Dani and Jack were offered envelopes, one with the £50k cash and one with nothing.

Jack won the cash but split the money with Dani.

Aside from this, many of the contestants who went into the villa emerged as reality stars in their own right and scored sponsorship deals and business opportunities off the back of their TV appearances.

Previous winners of the show include Kem and Amber and Cara and Nathan who won season two and are still happily loved up with a child Freddie-George.

Jessica Hayes and Max Morley won the first season of the rebooted ITV2 series but sadly went their separate ways.
