Tommy Fury's cooking skills have been placed under intense scrutiny yet again on this year's series of Love Island.
On Wednesday evening's episode of the ITV reality television show, it was announced that Tommy would have to make a starter while on a date with new Islander Maura Higgins.
However, having previously needed help from fellow contestants when making peppermint tea and an omelette, the notion of coming up with an impressive starter for the 28-year-old model wasn't one that came naturally to the professional boxer.
In the end, Tommy created a dish which consisted of ketchup, mayonnaise and slices of cheese placed on top of bread.
While some have commended the 20-year-old for trying his best on the date, for several Love Island fans, his culinary skills left much to be desired.
"I actually love the fact that Tommy can’t cook it’s hilarious," one person tweeted.
"I can’t believe Tommy served red sauce on bread for a starter," another wrote.
Some Love Island fans came to Tommy's defence, stating that the boxer is "trying his best" in the kitchen.
"I don’t like people making fun of Tommy and his cooking," someone remarked.
"It’s rude and it’s not his fault this girl chose him probably knowing he couldn’t cook. He’s trying his best, respect that."
