Love Island 2019 star Lucie Donlan admits she's not actually very good at surfing

Love Island 2019 star Lucie Donlan has admitted she's not actually very good at surfing.

The Cornwall-based beauty lists her occupation as surfer, but she also makes a living through glamour modelling.

She has previously professed her love of the sport during her time in the villa, but she had a big confession to make last night.

During her date with Tommy Fury, they were discussing his successful boxing career.

When the time came to discuss Lucie's own sporting achievements, she admitted she's actually "not the best surfer".

The blonde beauty went on to concede that she's more interested in the modelling side.

The revelation sent viewers into meltdown and they flocked to Twitter to share their confusion.

One wrote: "Lucie: we have the sports thing in common like Tommy: yeah my elite boxing, your surfing Lucie: um I actually am not that great it’s more modelling on a surfboard..."

Another tweeted: "The way Lucie talked about being a surfer, I thought she was a professional surfer. Now it’s “modeling and surfing”.

Viewers were horrified during Tuesday’s episode as bombshell Tommy stole Lucie from original partner Joe Garratt, leaving him devastated.

A teaser for the next episode revealed tension as Joe fretted over his coupling, while Amber Gill appeared to make the most of the situation and set her sights on him.

Love Island airs all week at 9pm on ITV2.
