Love Island is set for another hot summer with a new batch of sexy singletons hoping to find their special someone.
Yes, the villa has swung open its doors for another series and first look pictures show the five girls getting ready to couple up.
Amy Hart, 26, Lucie Donlan, 21, Amber Gill, 21, Yewanda Biala, 23, and Anna Vakili, 28, can be seen standing on the lawn with host Caroline Flack as they prepare to meet the boys.
Series five of the hugely popular ITV2 show has already sparked controversy over the lack of body diversity.
An insider previously suggested to the Daily Star that this year’s cast would “reflect the diversity of the audience” and “what people want to see,” but fans were left scratching their heads when the line-up was revealed last week.
The cohort of budding reality stars even prompted criticism from former Love Island stars Alexandra Cane and Malin Andersson who wanted to see “curvy girls” on the island.
“We try and be as representative and diverse as possible but first and foremost it’s an entertainment show,” he told the paper.
Cowles continued: “It’s about people wanting to watch and them reacting and falling in love with another. Yes, we want to be as representative as possible but we also want them to be attracted to one another.
“I’m not saying everyone that’s in there is how you’re supposed to look, what we’re saying is they are a group of people we want to watch for eight weeks and we want to watch them fall in love.”
Love Island returns to ITV2 tonight at 9pm
