Love Island 2019: Curtis Pritchard leaves fans in hysterics as he wipes his mouth after kissing Amy

Love Island fans were left in stitches after watching Curtis Pritchard forcefully wipe his lips after kissing Amy Hart.

The pair shared a moment after finding out they were safe from the latest dumping, which saw the islanders wave goodbye to Elma Pazar and Joe Garratt.

After Caroline Flack read out the names, the couple kissed as they headed back to their seats around the firepit.

Unable to resist her “half-boyfriend”, Amy lent in for another kiss but viewers were left cracking up as Curtis wiped his lips.

One wrote: “Yeee you wipe that kiss off ya lips Curtis cause you’re a fakeeee!!! #loveisland.”

Another said: “Can’t be the only one who saw Curtis wipe that kiss from Amy #loveisland.”

“Lmao why did Curtis wipe his mouth so hard after kissing Amy #loveIsland,” chuckled somebody else.

Many branded the professional dancer a “fake” and “playing to the cameras” with his romance with Amy, suggesting that Curtis would “ditch her” after another week.

Others defended Curtis as they pointed out he was probably just wiping lip gloss off his face.

Joe and Elma were sent packing on Tuesday night while Lucie Donlan and Anton Danyluk were spared eviction by the public.

Fans of the ITV2 show had been forced to split up two villa couples by voting for one half of each to go home.

Lucie was left in tears after Joe’s departure was announced, with the sandwich man promising to “wait for her on the outside” while she tearfully hit out at the other contestants for putting them in the danger zone in the first place.

Love Island is on ITV2, tonight at 9pm
