The hunky Limerick rugby player found himself embroiled in a love triangle with Amber and Michael Griffiths, but after much uncertainty from fellow Islanders and viewers at home, he was the beautiful brunette's first choice.
Michael confessed to still having feelings for Amber this week after Joanna Chimonides was dumped from the villa, much to the shock of the 21-year-old beauty therapist.
But when Greg entered the show and swept Amber off her feet, she made the decision which she said would make her feel happiest.

Meanwhile, Longford native Maura Higgins finally had a recoupling go her way as she got the chance to couple up with Dancing With The Stars' hunk Curtis Pritchard.
The fiery brunette first made her feelings for Curtis clear when he ended things with air hostess Amy Hart, but only when she quit the show did the grid girl make her move.
However, Francesca Allen chose to couple up with the professional dancer when she entered the villa.
But after he let her down gently, Curtis and Maura finally got their chance to officially couple up on Friday night.
In the first look at tonight's episode, it looked like Amber would end up picking Michael over charming Irishman Greg O'Shea.
As she stands opposite Greg and Michael at the fire pit, she says: "It has been the hardest decision that I've had to make. I really don't know what the right thing to do is, it's hard.
"I've got one boy, we've had a history, we've had our ups and downs but I can't deny that there's a connection there."
