Love was in the air at Chatelherault Park yesterday as an aeroplane flew overhead with a marriage proposal on a banner.
It read “Ashleigh McClure will you marry me?” as the couple basked in the sunshine below, where they reportedly toasted champagne.
We are appealing for locals to get in touch if you know the couple and/or if you saw the plane fly over Hamilton yesterday afternoon (July 6).
It is believed to have flown over Hamilton at Chatelherault Park, Eddlewood Park and possibly other areas nearby.
