Love is Blind star Amber Pike has confessed her marriage to Matt Barnett hit the rocks and she looked into hiring a divorce lawyer.
The pair tied the knot on TV in the new Netflix dating show, after falling in love and getting engaged without ever seeing each other.
They appeared on the reunion show, filmed a year after the weeding, to confirm they are still married.
However, Amber, 27, admitted they went through a rocky time when they nearly split up.
Speaking on the reunion episode, she explained: "There was a point where we almost broke because we had such high expectations out of what we wanted out of a husband and a wife.
"We knew we were married and we knew we were in love but also we were still learning each other."
Amber said her financial troubles put pressure on the marriage, especially when she wasn't working.
She went on: "I was working as a cocktail waitress and there was a while where I was making Matt so uncomfortable.
"I wasn't working so that was putting a strain because I was so financially dependent on him, which was new to me.
"I have never been financially dependent on anyone before...
"Also ya'll saw how he liked to flirt with people - he was so used to his bachelor life and I was used to my bachelor life...
"We had to figure out how to hang out and party together.
"We weren't giving it the time we needed. At one point I actually called about potentially getting a divorce lawyer.
"I was like this isn't working."
She added that they are both "stubborn" they had some epic rows, explaining: "We butted heads a lot and when we butt heads it could be bad, it could be intense.
"Figuring out how to handle that it made a huge difference."
Barnett added: "Once that happened it's been nothing but good things ever since."
