Love Is Blind fans have a funny obsession this season: Jordan Keltner. Yes, in a sea of same-y love interests in Season 9 of the hit reality series, Jordan is a hot topic online. But, for an interesting reason because people are confused about what he does for work exactly. Jordan is a 30-year-old single dad who loves his son and seems very sweet in most of the interactions he’s featured on in the show. A quick scroll of the online populous shows that people have no idea what a service manager is though.
Jordan doesn’t like to talk about it much on camera. (Honestly, can you blame him? There’s an army of us nosy people out there who like to make it a sport to learn as much as possible about these reality TV contestants.) Still, it’s a thing that people want to know as much as possible about. So, we’re here to help in that regard. Let’s get into what Jordan actually does for a living and see if that influences how we feel about a breakaway star of Love Is Blind this season.
What is a service manager?

In this case, a service manager is kind of related to human resource management. Basically, Jordan would be the person to be a liaison between customers and the people on the ground providing a given service. Be it automotive, HVAC, or somewhere in a retail environment, he’s the one determining if things are running smoothly between the workers and the people they’re serving. It’s a bit nebulous, and he probably likes it that way.
One thing Jordan has going for him in Love Is Blind is that personality. It’s beyond reasonable to see a connection with how he connects with Megan and what makes him successful in his work life. However, as some of the people on social media have noticed, Jordan isn’t talking about work stuff on-camera for whatever reason. It’s totally his right as the cameras are rolling a ton of the time. The more information you put out there, the more nosy people can put together on their own.
Jordan from Love Is Blind’s other job is pretty sweet
Despite the service stuff taking up a lot of the airspace online, Jordan does have a really rewarding side gig. The Love Is Blind contestant writes children’s stories for his son Luca. They fall under the umbrella of “Luca’s Brand,” and he aims to have meaningful conversations with younger readers. They donate $1 from every book sold to help children with Type 1 Diabetes. (Luca has this condition, so it’s close to his heart.)
It’s easy to fixate on the secrecy about his job status. But, we’re missing the true mystery of this season. What is up with this man’s smoothies? Chicken breasts and Crystal Light in a beverage? I am disgusted and unnaturally curious about that. We can figure out this job thing at another time.
