LOVE Gorgie Farm is appealing for your help as the coronavirus pandemic keeps potential visitors at home.
The farm's dedicated team who are looking after the animals have published a wish list of items they are asking people to donate.
Items include the everyday such as black bin bags as well as rodent shampoo, animal bedding and even an egg incubator.
Operation of the Gorgie Farm was recently taken over by charity LOVE learning after it was threatened with closure.
Locals were shocked after it was announced in November last year that the popular attraction faced liquidation.
Over £100,000 was raised in a crowdfunder in a bid to rescue the attraction.
CEO of LOVE Learning, Lynn Bell, said: “We are diligently following the Government’s advice regarding the coronavirus outbreak to ensure the safety of visitors, staff and animals.
“No matter what the next advice is on whether the farm should stay open to the public or not, our team will still need to work hard to maintain the farm and take care of our animals so that we can reopen once we go back to normality. And we need help and supplies to support their work.
“We have set up an Amazon shopping list so anyone who wishes to make a contribution, no matter how little, can help us keep the farm going from the safety of their homes.
“The overwhelming support of the community to get LOVE Gorgie Farm going has exceeded all our expectations thus far and we are incredibly grateful for all the invaluable help we have and continue to receive.”
