LOVE Gorgie desperately needs your old boxes for food parcels for Edinburgh's vulnerable children

Despite closing their doors to the public amid the coronavirus outbreak, Edinburgh’s LOVE Gorgie is still serving the community.

The much-loved urban farm, which is owned by LOVE Learning, is now operating as a food bank delivering free breakfasts every morning to children in the community who need it most.

They have already appealed for volunteers to help deliver the breakfasts and meals, which the LOVE Learning say are "paramount for those families who cannot afford it".

But, if you can't give up your time, then you can still help by donating boxes.

LOVE Gorgie said: "WE NEED BOXES to keep delivering food parcels.

"We need boxes, we are using bags but we need boxes that are sturdy to carry items that people need. Please drop off any you can find, thank you!"
