Love, Aubrey By Suzanne La Fleur - review

After a tragic accident in which she lost her father and sister, Savannah, Aubrey is alone. Determined to take care of herself she has everything she needs: Sammy, her pet fish, and cheese, crackers and SpaghettiO's.

But when her grandmother turns up one day, Aubrey knows she can't hide anymore and that she has to face the truth. She has absolutely no idea where her mother is and when she is coming back so she will have to go and stay with her gran.

With the loving help of Bridget, a new-found friend, and her grandmother, Aubrey will realize that she is not alone and that she is loved. By writing letters to Jilly, Aubrey shows you just how she is feeling. Jilly is Savannah's imaginary friend and by writing to her Aubrey feels closer to her sister.

Love, Aubrey is an amazing book. By including a letter at the end of each chapter you can see just how Aubrey feels about her situation. I would definitely recommend this book as it was very hard to stop reading!

Aubrey is honest, brave and hopeful. This is certainly a book to be read by everyone! 10 out of ten stars!!
