A behind-the-scenes video of Love and Monsters is melting the hearts of fans.
The post-apocalyptic fantasy film was finally given a released by the streaming service earlier this month, and it’s been the most-watched title every day since.
Dylan O’Brien leads the cast as Joel Dawson, a cowardly survivor of an asteroid disaster that causes creatures to mutate into gigantic deadly monsters.
The film follows Joel as he leaves his bunker to find his girlfriend, Aimee. On his way, he befriends a stray dog he names Boy.
Joel and Boy become a double act during the film with Maze Runner star O’Brien himself praising the real-life canines, Hero and Dodge, who play him.
Their trainer, Zellie Bullen, described the dogs’ bond with O’Brien as the strongest she’s seen in her career.
Backing this up is a behind-the-scenes video of the pair, which fans are loving on social media.
It shows the pair hanging out in between takes – and the love looks extremely real.
