Lovable has rolled out a series of new security updates to give creators, teams, and businesses stronger protection for their apps and data. The updates combine new tools, stricter policies, and industry-recognized certifications to raise the platform’s overall security standards.
At Lovable, we know that trust is earned, not given. When you build, publish, and run apps on Lovable, you trust us with your ideas, your data, and your users.

Today, we’re excited to share some major updates to make Lovable even more secure platform for creators, teams, and…
The biggest update is the new Security Checker 2.0, which is an enhanced tool that automatically scans apps for risks such as database misconfigurations, sensitive data exposure, and other vulnerabilities. Besides, the biggest advantage is that it’s modular, which means Lovable can continuously add new rules and detections as security threats evolve.
Furthermore, the company has rolled out a new content policy that blocks harmful projects, including malware, phishing tools, and impersonation apps. According to Lovable, its system already blocks around 1,000 rule-breaking projects daily. Besides, a dedicated human safety team has taken down more than 300 sites in the past two weeks for policy violations.
In order to back up its claims, the company has achieved SOC 2 Type 1, SOC 2 Type 2, and ISO 27001:2022 certifications. These are widely recognized benchmarks for data protection and security. The company says these certifications confirm that its practices meet and even exceed industry standards.
Along with the security updates, the company has also been experimenting with new AI capabilities. Recently, a limited preview of GPT-5 integration was also made available. However, it was only available until August 12, 2025. It allowed creators to build apps and projects using the latest GPT-5 technology, expanding what’s possible on Lovable.
Unfortunately, there’s no clarity about when this integration will arrive for regular users. But I will keep a close eye on all the updates. So if you want to get the next update delivered straight to your phone, then join us on WhatsApp.
