Lovable Adds a New Way to Work Together

Lovable has launched a new multiplayer real-time streaming feature. The update was announced via the company’s official X account. It allows all collaborators on a project to see code or text being generated in real time.

This new feature brings a Google Docs-style experience to software development. Instead of waiting for syncs or refreshes, team members can now watch as Lovable writes out code or text during AI-assisted tasks.

According to the company, “Multiplayer real-time streaming means that all project collaborators can see in real-time the text or code written out by Lovable. This improves the experience of working with others on a project.”

This feature builds on the multiplayer capabilities introduced in the Lovable 2.0 update. In that release, the platform added shared workspaces for Pro and Teams users, allowing project collaboration with role-based access. Pro users can invite up to two collaborators, while Teams users can work with up to 20, where owners and admins have full control over invites, while editors can only make changes within a project.

Along with the multiplayer capabilities, the 2.0 update added a smarter Chat Mode Agent that can reason through complex tasks and help with planning and debugging. The update also included features like built-in security scanning (via Supabase), visual editing improvements, and the ability to manage custom domains directly from the platform.

With real-time multiplayer streaming, Lovable is making AI-assisted development more team-friendly and interactive. The new feature is already live and rolling out to all users in supported workspaces.
