Louise Redknapp turns DJ to play at pub in the Cotswolds for the Chipping Norton set

Louise Redknapp is expanding her horizons to dip her toes into the pool of DJ-ing – with an upcoming summer party performance.

The 46-year-old chart sensation will turn her hand to spinning the decks and thrill music lovers with a disco set in just 11 weeks time.

Pop babe Louise is teaming up with her close friend Billy Clark – a manager at her management company, Massive Management – to perform as a DJ group called LBD.

The duo are part of a line-up of performers who set to entertain crowds at an event called Out Inn The Cotswolds, being held at The Swann Inn in Ascott Under Wychwood on Saturday 17 July.

Out Inn The Cotswolds revealed that Louise and Billy would be spinning tunes via Instagram last month.

They announced: “Annouching our 3rd DJS! LBD! @louiseredknapp & @billyclark_ . A one off special disco set! One night only!”

While Billy promoted the event on his own social media channels, writing: “One night only! Presenting LBD. A special DJ set from me and @louiseredknapp playing the best disco.”

Louise’s one night only of DJ-ing delights will include a host of other performers who will make music for revellers to while the day and night away.

Drag queen extraordinaire Jodie Harsh will be headlining the event – which is due to kick off at 2pm in the afternoon and continue late into the night.

DJs from London-based creative group Sink The Pink will also be DJ-ing at the event.

While performer Jonathan Bestley will be providing a DJ set of their own that promises to be filled with “sun drenched disco” hits.

Out Inn The Cotswolds describe the big event as: "A day of celebration and DJ sets in the beautiful English countryside."

Tickets are on sale now and retail at £52.25.
