Louisiana wins the Sun Belt West again with a win. Lose, and things start to get interesting with the rivalry date with ULM to close, but the team is hot enough to keep this going with a four-game winning streak.
All eight of the Ragin’ Cajun wins were by double-digit blasting, and the two losses were to Mississippi State and Appalachian State – no shame there.
Troy found its footing after losing four games in five, beating Georgia Southern and Texas State to get back in the bowl fight. The offense has been explosive, the defense has been erratic, and it needs one more win – it gets Appalachian State to close – to get bowl eligible.
The Trojans have the best pass rush in the Sun Belt, the passing game is averaging 325 yards per game, and now it has to handle the ULL running game
The Ragin’ Cajuns are playing too well. The offense is going to be good for almost 500 yards, the defense will do enough to generate the third down stops needed to hold up, and they’ll be off to the Sun Belt Championship again with another fantastic performance.
