What’s Going To Happen
Coastal Carolina is still pushing for a bowl game, but that’s a bit of a long shot at this point. Louisiana is pushing for the Sun Belt title, and it’s right there for the taking.
The Ragin’ Cajuns have won two straight, and most importantly, they beat Arkansas State on the road. There’s still plenty of work to do, but another Sun Belt win would give them a huge step forward.
Their rushing attack has been steadily amazing. It’s been held to under 275 yards twice – Mississippi State and Appalachian State – and lost both games.
The Coastal Carolina run defense is having problems, giving up close to 300 yards to the Georgia Southern option attack a few weeks ago, and getting hit for 350 yards by Georgia State.
The Chanticleers are great at controlling the tempo, and the defense has been outstanding, but they turn it over way too often, and the Elijah Mitchell and the ULL running game are just that good.
