Louise Thompson has shared her real feelings about her brother Sam’s ex-girlfriend, Zara McDermott.
Sam, 32, and Zara, 28, split in December after five years of dating and the Love Island star moved on swiftly afterwards with One Direction singer, Louis Tomlinson, 33.
Earlier this week, Louise shared her criteria for Sam’s next girlfriend during her appearance on his Staying Relevant podcast, revealing she’d like someone she “would get along with”.
This prompted some fans to think that maybe Louise didn’t like Zara - something the former Made In Chelsea star was quick to set the record straight on.
When asked to describe Sam’s “ideal partner”, she said: “I'd love for you to try dating someone that has a normal job, that's outside of the media space. I think that could be exciting...
“You definitely need somebody that slightly puts you in your place, so who's gonna talk back to you, and not let you get away with everything.”

She added, “If you're going to go down the fame route, can you just find someone that I would get along with? I'm thinking young British actress,” before suggesting Emma Watson.
A video of the exchange was shared on the Staying Relevant Instagram page.
One fan commented, “I don’t think Louise really ever liked Zara… don’t blame her,” and another added: “It feels like Louise hates Zara's guts.”
Louise was quick to deny the theory, replying: “I have to interject here. I actually really adored Zara.”
The reality star lives next door to Sam in London and she often featured in Sam and Zara’s Instagram and TikTok videos while the exes were together.

Sam was said to have been left ‘blindsided’ when Zara went public with her relationship with Louis in March.
That same month, he revealed he wasn’t ready to date yet.
“I suppose a lot of people look for validation in other people right? And they look for the next person instantly because it's like ‘I need to find someone else to fill that hole and I need to find that excitement,’” he said on his podcast.
“You know when you get that excited feeling when you are talking to someone new and fresh? I can't do that.”
He added that he likes staying in, saying: “I mean I love home, I am a real homebody. I love my cats and being around my family and being in my home, I barely ever go out.”
