Louise Thompson back in hospital for fourth time weeks after 12-day stay for ulcerative colitis

Louise Thompson’s fiancé Ryan Libbey has revealed she is back in hospital for the fourth time since she was first admitted earlier this month.The Made In Chelsea star, 33, has suffered various health issues since the birth of her son Leo, two, and became seriously ill while on a recent holiday with her family in Antigua.

Libby, who also appeared in the E4 reality TV show, took to Instagram Stories on Thursday to share a health update on his other half, advising that she had been readmitted to hospital at 3am on Sunday and is continuing to recover on the ward.

Alongside a picture of Apple Airpods Max which he said he had got Thompson as a present with the intention of cheering her up, he wrote: "Picked up a little gift for Louise earlier this morning. Unfortunately, she had to go back into hospital at 3am on Sunday morning and she’s still there.

"I’m hoping these will transport her to her own little world whilst she’s on the ward recovering," he said as he showcased the types of headphones.

Thompson has been open about the physical and mental challenges she has faced since becoming a mother.

She also suffers from ulcerative colitis, a chronic bowel condition leading to parts of the gut becoming swollen, inflamed, and ulcerated, and lupus, a chronic autoimmune condition, that has left her with exhaustion and joint pain.

Thompson appeared in Made In Chelsea’s first series in 2011, progressing to become one of the E4 show’s main characters.

Her partner Libbey joined the cast in 2016 during filming in the south of France. The couple became engaged in 2018 after he proposed during a hiking trip in Los Angeles.
