Louise Redknapp is set to "finally move on" after Jamie Redknapp is expecting a baby with his new partner Frida Andersson-Lourie.
Louise, 46, is reportedly using the news as a push to focus on her future life and career away from Jamie.
Former Eternal star Louise has regularly spoken about her ex-husband and her regrets over their relationship ending in 2017.
Speaking about Louise's heartache, a source told New! Magazine : “Louise was stunned by the news that Jamie was expecting a baby, and it did hurt her. But it was the push she needed to move on and that’s exactly what she intends to do.
“She’s been making her career a number one priority again. She wants people to know her as Louise the performer, not Jamie’s ex-wife."
Louise recently took part in The Masked Dancer and was unveiled as Flamingo, with the ITV show reportedly giving Louise a "new lease of life".
The source said: "She has so much going on right now that excites her. The Masked Dancer gave her a new lease of life. And she can’t wait to be back on the stage again. She loves performing in front of a crowd, she wants to focus on the positives."
While she’s still believed to be coming to terms with Jamie and Frida’s pregnancy news, Louise is hopeful that she’ll find love again soon and feels she'll find the right man "when she least expects it."
The insider said: “Louise doesn’t want to go looking for love as she thinks you never find it that way. She believes it will happen when she least expects it, and everything will fall into place."
Louise recently revealed in her book that she regretted ending her 19-year marriage to former Liverpool footballer Jamie.
Louise wrote: "I wish I had tried.
“I want to say to anyone thinking of running – just slow down. Don’t run.”
