Louise Redknapp's 'crumbling' as ex Jamie spends Christmas with new girlfriend

Louise Redknapp is said to be 'crumbling' over Christmas as her ex-husband Jamie plans to spend his first festive season with his new girlfriend.

Claims surfaced singer, 46, is 'struggling' as the ex-England football player enjoys the festivities with Swedish model beau Frida Andersson Lourie - just five months into their romance, according to OK! magazine.

The former couple had been married for 19 years, living happily with their sons Charles, 16, and 12-year-old Beau before splitting in 2017.

The Eternal singer has hinted at being a “a broken mess” and is feeling low about being alone at Christmas, according to the magazine.

A source told the publication: “I think Louise is struggling. That’s why you’re seeing cryptic quotes and the sexy selfies she’s been posting,” new magazine's source claimed.

“She’s trying to show Jamie what he’s missing. But in her heart, I think she’s still crumbling."

The source made further claims: “Because Jamie now has a new partner and it’ll be his first new year with her, I think it hurts Louise.

“A marriage isn’t like a cold you can just get over... It’s like grieving for someone. It’s particularly hard over Christmas.”

Plastered all over her Instagram in the lead up to Xmas were cryptic quotes about fighting for love.

One read: "Love. Some days, she's a warrior. Some days she's a broke mess. Most days she's a bit of both. But everyday she's there. Standing. Fighting. Trying."

Louise has yet to go public with another man since her divorce from her ex Jamie.

The songstress previously admitted she hadn't been on a date since her split.

She told Sophie Ellis Bextor's Spinning Plates podcast: "I don't think I'm ever going to be able to have a boyfriend. I still haven't been on a date.

"First of all the 16-year-old is like, 'How are they going to get past me?'

"Sometimes I say, 'How would you feel if I went on a date?' and they say, 'I don't want to talk about it!'

"It's not looking positive to me when it comes to a love life."

Her tell-all book You've Got This will hit shelves next year.
