Louise Redknapp revealed she rang in 2022 with pals after admitting it has been a “hard few years”.
The singer said she was starting the new year on a high as she looks to the future following her marriage split and ex Jamie re-marrying and having another baby.
Sharing a series of party snaps with her ‘gang’, the 47-year-old former girl band star took to Instagram to wish her 731,000 Instagram followers a Happy New Year.
Blowing a kiss to the camera and flashing a peace sign, a glam Louise wrote: “A bit late posting but just wanted to wish you all a Happy New Year and all the love and luck for 2022! I had a fab night with my gang.”
Louise looked better than ever as she posed in the back of a cab with pals Claire Denby and Lewis Shaw wearing a black shirt and black blazer jacket.
In one particularly sultry snap, she rocked a smoky eye and nude lip as her long blonde hair fell down by her shoulders as she looked straight at the camera.
Another shot shows Louise with a mischievous glint in her eye as she beams from ear to ear in a group selfie.
The Stuck in the Middle With You singer – who shares sons Charlie, 17, and 13-year-old Beau with ex Jamie - recently spoke out about moving on in her own life.
It comes after she split with husband of 19 years in 2017. He has since married Swedish model Frida Andersson.
The couple also welcomed a baby boy named Raphael in November 2021.
Breaking her silence on Jamie and the baby, Louise set the record straight to deny she was in “secret despair” over it.
She said: “I try not to read or respond to these things, but sometimes they are unavoidable. I’d really love to clarify that “Louise” is not in despair or anything like it!!
“I have my two gorgeous boys that I adore more than anything in the world, the best family around me and I’m having the time of my life with my career and the most wonderful friends that a girl could hope for.”
She added: “I’d like to make it clear that I’m in the most positive of headspace and loving my life.
“Here’s to all the ladies out there that are in control of their lives and living their very best lives!”
Former Eternal singer Louise’s career is definitely going from strength to strength – after she admitted she felt she had lost her way after years of “doing the mum thing” while she was with Jamie.
It was her appearance on Strictly Come Dancing in 2016, which saw Louise reach the final with partner Kevin Clifton, that prompted her to want to get back on stage and end her marriage.
In December, she announced she was going back on tour joining Steps on a series of gigs next summer.
After turning her own life around, Louise revealed she would also be helping others to do the same in 2022 and is hosting a new show called ‘We’ve Got This’ with lifestyle expert Paul Wharton.
Revealing the exciting news to ITV ’s Lorraine, she said: “I speak to so many people all the time that say ‘Oh, I wish I could do this, I wish I could do that.’ What we’re saying is, ‘You can!’”
