Louise Redknapp breaks silence over Jamie's new baby - denying she is in secret despair

Louise Redknapp has broken her silence over ex Jamie Redknapp's new baby - furiously denying she is in "secret despair."

The mum-of-two lashed out at claims in a magazine she was upset at her ex's new baby Raphael, saying she is in "most positive of headspaces".

In her eloquent post the 47-year-old writes: "I try not to read or respond to these things but sometimes they are unavoidable. I’d really love to clarify that “Louise” is not in despair or anything like it!!

"I have my two gorgeous boys that I adore more than anything in the world, the best family around me and I’m having the time of my life with my career and with the most wonderful friends that a girl could hope for.

"I’d like to make it clear that I’m in the most positive of headspace and loving my life. Here’s to all the ladies out there that are in control of their lives and living their very best lives!"

Jamie tied the knot with Frida Andersson, now Redknapp, in November and the pair went on to have gorgeous Raphael last week.

Jamie and Frida are already parents to children from previous relationship - with the football pundit dad to two sons with ex-wife Louise, while Frida shares four children, three boys and one girl, with her former husband Jonathan Lourie.

In her Instagram statement Louise is referencing her new tour with Steps.

The 47-year-old singer, who competed in Strictly Come Dancing back in 2016, took to Twitter to reveal she would be heading on the road and joining the group at a gig in Staffordshire next September.

“I’m so excited to announce the first of my live shows for 2022!” Louise wrote.

“I’ll be joining the fabulous @OfficialSteps at Trentham Live @TrenthamLive on Friday 2nd September!

“Come along and hear all the hits… and some new tracks,” she teased.

The former Eternal singer will join the 90s pop band for the gig next year, and her fans were excited to see her back performing.
